Role Overview:
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Java Frontend Developer with over a decade of expertise in frontend development within the financial or banking sector. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud integrations and a strong ability to design and implement sophisticated, user-centric interfaces that meet stringent financial industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
UI/UX Architecture: Lead the design and architecture of intuitive, responsive, and high-performance frontend applications using Java-based frameworks.
Development & Implementation: Develop, implement, and maintain complex frontend solutions that align with business objectives and user needs.
Cloud Integration: Integrate frontend applications with cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to ensure scalability, reliability, and seamless performance.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior frontend developers, promoting best practices and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and enhance frontend performance, ensuring fast load times and smooth user interactions.
Security Compliance: Ensure all frontend applications adhere to financial industry security standards and best practices for data protection.
Collaboration: Work closely with backend developers, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to deliver cohesive and comprehensive solutions.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest frontend technologies and trends, implementing innovative solutions to improve user experience and application functionality.
Required Skills:
Advanced Java Frontend Frameworks: Expertise in Java-based frontend frameworks such as JavaFX, Vaadin, or similar, with a strong portfolio of past projects.
Web Technologies: Mastery of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and modern frontend libraries/frameworks (e.g., Angular, React, or Vue.js).
Financial/Banking Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience in developing frontend applications tailored to the financial or banking sector.
Cloud Proficiency: Advanced experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including frontend hosting, cloud-based integrations, and performance management.
UI/UX Design Principles: Deep understanding of user interface design, user experience best practices, and accessibility standards.
Version Control Systems: Proficiency with Git or similar version control systems, including branching, merging, and collaborative workflows.
Performance Tuning: Expertise in optimizing frontend performance, including code splitting, lazy loading, and efficient state management.
Security Best Practices: Comprehensive knowledge of frontend security measures, including data encryption, secure authentication, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of frontend developers effectively.
Soft Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of professional experience in frontend development, specifically within the financial or banking industry.
Demonstrated success in leading frontend projects with cloud integrations.
