Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Java Backend Developer with over 10 years of expertise in backend development within the financial or banking sector. The ideal candidate will possess deep knowledge of cloud technologies and a proven track record of designing and implementing scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Architectural Design: Lead the design and architecture of robust backend systems and services using Java and related frameworks.
Development & Deployment: Develop, deploy, and maintain complex backend solutions, ensuring high availability and performance.
Cloud Integration: Utilize cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) to architect and manage scalable backend infrastructures.
Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative development environment.
Security & Compliance: Ensure all backend systems comply with financial regulations and security standards, safeguarding sensitive data.
Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize system performance, implementing enhancements as needed.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including frontend developers, QA engineers, and business analysts, to deliver comprehensive solutions.
Problem-Solving: Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues promptly to maintain system integrity.
Required Skills:
Advanced Java Expertise: In-depth knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and other relevant backend frameworks.
Financial/Banking Domain Knowledge: Extensive experience in developing backend systems for financial or banking applications.
Cloud Proficiency: Advanced experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), including cloud architecture, deployment, and management.
Microservices Architecture: Proven experience designing and implementing microservices-based architectures.
Database Management: Expertise in relational and NoSQL databases such as MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle, or MongoDB.
DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation).
API Development: Mastery in designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
Security Best Practices: Comprehensive knowledge of security protocols, encryption, and data protection mechanisms.
Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor development teams effectively.
Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Over 10 years of professional experience in backend development, specifically within the financial or banking industry.
Proven track record of successful cloud-based project implementations.
