Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Cloud Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing technologies, systems architecture, and infrastructure management. You will be responsible for deploying, managing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions and services to ensure reliability, scalability, and security.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure solutions using platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Develop automated cloud infrastructure management solutions, leveraging Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor and optimize cloud resources to ensure cost-effectiveness, performance, and reliability.
• Collaborate with development teams to implement continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Implement and maintain cloud security practices, ensuring compliance with best practices and regulations.
• Troubleshoot and resolve cloud infrastructure issues to maintain uptime and performance.
• Automate cloud system deployments and configurations, as well as manage and provision resources.
• Stay up to date with the latest cloud technologies and trends to recommend innovative solutions for infrastructure improvement.
• Provide cloud support and guidance to cross-functional teams, ensuring smooth cloud operations and deployments.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or Azure Resource Manager.
• Knowledge of cloud networking, storage, and security best practices.
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex issues in cloud environments.
• Good understanding of databases, serverless architectures, and cloud services (e.g., AWS EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS).
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Cloud certification (AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect, etc.).
• Experience with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
• Experience with cloud monitoring and management tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor).
Educational Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
