We are seeking a skilled software engineer to analyze, design, code, debug, test, and modify software applications, with a focus on enhancing functionality and improving software performance. The role involves creating strategic technical designs for updates, providing architecture guidance, and developing specifications to resolve software issues while collaborating with stakeholders on feature complexity and current functionality. You will estimate effort for small to medium-sized projects, troubleshoot complex issues across multiple modules, and lead process improvements for development, deployment, and application monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
•Analyze, design, code, debug, test and modify new software or enhancements while considering software abilities
•Create strategic technical design for specific software needing updates/maintenance
•Provide high-level architecture guidance and develop specifications to resolve software problems
•Consult with stakeholders on current functionality and complexity of adding features
•Estimate effort for current and future projects of small to medium scope
•Debug complicated issues that span multiple modules, involve complex concurrency or low-level problems
•Propose and lead process improvements projects for development, deployment, or application monitoring
•Share knowledge within team through mentorship, coaching, technical talks, and blogs
