Job Title: Pega Developer
Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Pega Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing, developing, and implementing Pega applications, particularly in the areas of BPM (Business Process Management) and CRM solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders, analysts, and other developers to build and maintain scalable, efficient, and robust Pega-based applications that meet business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and implement Pega BPM applications in accordance with business requirements and best practices.
• Develop Pega solutions using Pega PRPC (Pega Rules Process Commander), including building case management, workflows, and business rules.
• Work with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into effective technical solutions.
• Create and configure Pega data models, integration services, user interfaces, and business processes.
• Customize Pega applications by writing and implementing custom activities, decision tables, reports, and connectors.
• Participate in testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure the functionality, performance, and scalability of the application.
• Ensure that Pega solutions adhere to design and security standards, while also being optimized for performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deploy Pega applications and perform system integrations.
• Provide ongoing maintenance and support for Pega applications, including bug fixes and enhancements.
• Assist in the migration and upgrade of Pega applications to newer versions.
• Stay updated with new Pega features, functionalities, and best practices.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Pega Developer, with hands-on experience in Pega BPM and PRPC development.
• Strong knowledge of Pega framework, including Pega 7.x or higher.
• Experience in designing and implementing workflows, case management, and business rules within Pega applications.
• Proficiency in Pega tools, including Pega Designer Studio, Integration Services, and Pega Express.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming (OOP) principles and knowledge of Java or .NET for integration purposes.
• Experience with Pega application deployment, including managing rulesets and Pega platform setup.
• Experience integrating Pega with other enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Salesforce, Oracle).
• Knowledge of Pega Reporting and Data management tools, including creating and managing reports.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevOps processes.
• Ability to troubleshoot, debug, and optimize Pega applications.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and other technical teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Pega Certified System Architect (CSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA).
• Experience with Pega Customer Service, Pega Marketing, or Pega Sales Automation.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Pega Cloud.
• Familiarity with DevOps tools for continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
• Experience with other business process management (BPM) tools or frameworks is a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
